Back in 2013, Airtame was founded with one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns ever in Denmark. The promise to deliver a simple and easy-to-use device for screen sharing was delivered with the Airtame 1. In 2018, we introduced the next generation of our screen-sharing device along with digital signage and remote access from the Airtame Cloud. The Airtame 2 has since been sold to thousands of organizations all over the world.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused a huge shift in how people interact with their colleagues and offices rushed to adapt to a hybrid environment. At ISE in 2021, we unveiled our newest product; The Airtame Hybrid plan. The included Airtame Hub device has all the best of Airtame 2 with a brand-new conferencing solution. By connecting any USB video peripherals to the Airtame Hub, the meeting host would no longer have to struggle with device settings. Instead, they could start any Microsoft Teams or Zoom meeting from their calendar, using the Airtame app. The Airtame Hybrid solution defined a new seamless hybrid experience without the need to replace all existing components in the room. Its agnostic nature ensures compatibility, eliminating the requirement for a complete overhaul to achieve an optimal hybrid meeting setup.
Since the release of the Airtame Hybrid, we have continued to improve the experience, introducing features like adding support for Google Meet and Webex. We have also introduced the Share to Call feature to allow all participants in the meeting room to share their screen into the call without having to log in to the call first. We have also paired with multiple peripheral market leaders like Logitech, Shure, Jabra, and Sennheiser. From the smallest webcam to top-of-the-line conference room AV setup, the Airtame Hub has been rigorously tested across video peripherals. All while improving the overall Airtame experience, with easier screen sharing without any installed app, and more custom appearance for the digital signage.
