If you missed our recent portfolio update webinar, here’s a quick overview of what Jonas Gyalokay (Co-founder), Simon Hangaard Hansen (CPO), and Peter Kristensen (CSO) covered — and why Airtame 3 is a big step forward for shared screens in both business and education.

Airtame today powers more than 145,000 screens and over 2 million meetings and classes every month across 11,000+ customers. The vision has always been the same: one platform for everything you do on shared screens — screen sharing, video conferencing, digital signage, emergency alerts, and remote management.

With Airtame 3, that platform now has a new hardware backbone.

What’s new with Airtame 3

Airtame 3 in a nutshell

  • One compact device for all use cases: screen sharing, signage, video conferencing, emergency alerts
  • Modern hardware: Wi-Fi 6E, powerful quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM
  • Flexible connectivity: PoE+ Ethernet, dual HDMI with 4K support on both, USB-C for power/display/data, USB-A for peripherals

Launch features

  • Dual-screen support from day one (mirrored content, or call layout with participants on one screen and content on the other)
  • Faster setup:
    • Bluetooth-based Wi-Fi setup directly from Airtame Cloud
    • Zero-touch deployment via QR codes on the box/device and automatic enrollment in Cloud
  • Significant performance boost vs Airtame 2 and Airtame Hub (faster signage loading and call join times)

Portfolio and licensing

  • Airtame 3 replaces Airtame 2 and Airtame Hub as the single hardware device going forward
  • Mix-and-match with Virtual Airtame on supported third-party hardware
  • Same device, two license paths:
    • Core (screen sharing, signage, remote management)
    • Hybrid (adds video conferencing) — and you can upgrade rooms later via software

Q&A highlights

  • Native protocols (Miracast, then AirPlay, then Google Cast) coming via software updates
  • Airtame 2 will be supported for at least 5 years from end-of-sale
  • Airtame 3 fully supports USB-C peripherals (cameras, mics, video bars)
