BAWAG Group modernizes meeting rooms with Airtame

The challenge

BAWAG Group moved its head office to THE ICON VIENNA, a sleek business center, earlier this year. Along with the move came the decision to bring their meeting rooms into the future.

The revamped meeting rooms would need to be well-equipped with easy-to-use presentation technology.

The chosen presentation solution would have to support Windows – the prevalent operating system for employees at BAWAG P.S.K. That said, few companies use one product exclusively. The presentation solution would need to be cross-platform so that staff and guests always had the option to present wirelessly from the device of their choosing.

The solution: a prudent approach to integrating technology

Airtame 2 was chosen for the meeting room project because it ticked all of their boxes for wireless screen sharing: secure, cross-platform, easy-to-use and cable-free.

But the meeting rooms also needed displays and video conferencing. The prudent thing to do was put out a tender for a package deal that included Samsung TVs, Logitech cameras, and Airtame 2s with the Airtame Ethernet adapter.

The reseller that won the bid offered the best combination of discounted pricing and services. They delivered and installed all of the new meeting room technology.

BAWAG Group currently has 95 Airtames for cable-free presentations. The majority are being used in their Viennese headquarters. The remaining devices are serving the bank’s smaller offices.

The results

The recent efforts at BAWAG P.S.K. headquarters have brought new life to their meeting rooms.

Everyone at BAWAG P.S.K. can now present wirelessly using the Airtame application. Having Airtame on Ethernet means consistent performance, as presenters connect over the bank’s network. Screen sharing is intuitive and stress-free (just like the design of the bank’s services), which helps meetings start and finish on schedule.

Another exemplary result is the resources that were saved by getting an all-inclusive deal with a reseller, decreasing the total cost-of-ownership. Additionally, reliability and ease of use of the full Airtame solution has meant a decrease in IT maintenance for meeting rooms.
