We’re excited to share the next step for Airtame’s digital signage capabilities. In our new 3.2 update, we’re launching Homescreen in public beta. It is the beginnings of a new product that will change the way you think about screens.
Get the full scoop on the new improvements below.
We want to change the way you think about screens.
Nowadays, most offices and classrooms have either a TV or projector screen. The problem is that the screens are not used to their full potential. Screens are valuable real estate for showing great, relevant content. We believe screens should help keep people in your organization engaged and aligned.
You could use digital signage hardware to show content on your screens, but most of this hardware is expensive and bulky.
Unlock your workspace’s potential with Homescreen, our brand new product in Airtame Cloud currently in public beta. With Homescreen, you have more control and access to put beautiful, relevant content on your screens when they’re not actively in use for screen sharing.
The new Homescreen tab on Airtame Cloud gives you a simple view of all your Airtame-enabled screens when nobody is streaming to them. This allows you as an IT admin, a content manager, or facilities team to check at a glance that your screens are configured to show the content just as you envisioned. The best part is you dohave to leave your desk.
This is just the beginning for Homescreen. We plan to add many more tools for you to make the screens in your organization come alive.
Another nice addition to Homescreen is you can adjust the orientation for screens you have mounted vertically. This is especially handy for info screen purposes. For example, if you want to use a portrait-oriented image in your reception area. Or, maybe you have a data dashboard containing long lists.
You can see more on this new portrait orientation in our Help Center. Note that portrait orientation is not available while streaming.
These recently launched changes for Homescreen are currently released in public beta. This means that the extra features you see in this update are currently free for you to try. In the future, they will become part of a premium feature set which you would pay on a subscription-based price.
If you have any questions about premium Airtame Cloud features, reach out to your Airtame Account Manager or drop us a line in the chat window at the bottom right corner of this page.
Homescreen is only available in beta mode right now, so we’d love to hear your feedback on the new functionalities and how we can make it even better. Get in touch.
