Airtame appoints a new Chairman of the Board and interim CEO

April 8th, 2022, CopenhagenAirtame, the leading wireless screen sharing and digital signage platform for schools and businesses, appoints a new Chairman of the Board and interim CEO, priming the company for future growth.

The Board of Directors at Airtame has appointed Peter Colsted as Chairman. Together with Airtame’s management, Peter will pursue the company’s continued growth trajectory and focus on its upcoming launch of Airtame Rooms, a new solution that simplifies hybrid meetings.

Peter Colsted brings extensive management experience from international growth and IT companies including positions such as Senior Director at Microsoft and CEO of Lessor and Secunia. Today he holds board positions in several software-as-a-service companies. Peter’s board experience includes positions as chairman at J.H. Schultz Information and ComplyCloud, and member of the board at Queue-it, Penni.io, and CTGlobal among others.

“Peter has vast experience in internationalizing and growing SaaS companies. Among other things, Airtame will be able to benefit from his strong track record in scaling technology companies. I – and the rest of the Airtame team – look forward to benefiting from these experiences that will help us to serve our customers even better,” says Jonas Gyalokay, co-founder of Airtame.

A focus point for the company is the upcoming launch of Airtame Rooms powered by the new Airtame Hub, which offers customers screen sharing, digital signage, video conferencing and cloud management wirelessly, and is provided in one platform.

Former CEO, Martin Wagner, has decided to resign, in order to pursue other career opportunities. Jonas Gyalokay, co-founder and former Chairman of the Board, has been appointed interim CEO until a permanent replacement is in place.

“We are sad that Martin has decided to leave Airtame, but we respect his decision and are grateful for his immense contribution to the development of the company during his time as CEO,” says Jonas Gyalokay.
